About Us
Shaun and Emily Burrow share a passion for bringing hope to individuals, couples, families, adolescents and children through their professional Christian counseling services. Because they have witnessed the positive impact of their own church’s counseling ministry on their church family and local community, they also feel called to help other churches envision and establish their own Christian counseling centers. Shaun and Emily are uniquely gifted to serve as both Christian counselors and partners of church leaders who want to create a vibrant Christian counseling ministry.
Shaun and Emily have been married for 27 years and have four children.

Emily Burrow, M.MFT, LMFT
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist,
EMDR-Certified
Emily Burrow earned her master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas, and her bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the Metropolitan State University of Denver in Denver, Colorado. She is licensed to practice in Texas as a marriage and family therapist.
Emily’s heart draws her to work with individuals, couples and families. She especially enjoys working with children and adolescents while providing support for their parents and families. Emily practices a strategic family systems approach to therapy by examining how a child’s behavior communicates information about the system in which they live. She collaborates with parents to help them learn to “speak kid” so they can look beyond the symptoms of the child’s behavior to discern the motivating force that drives it.
